Founder and Managing Director

John Cassas

John began his tennis career at an early age in Bogota, Colombia, where he quickly rose to become one of the top ten nationally ranked players. Representing his country in international competitions, he showcased his talent on a global stage. In 2003, he embarked on a new chapter by moving to the US with a full scholarship to Concordia College, NY, a top 10 nationally ranked school. Following his collegiate career, John diversified his expertise in coaching and playing, extending beyond tennis to include platform tennis and padel. His achievements led him to reach the top 20 of the APTA rankings. John's approach to program management, characterized by unparalleled customer service, dynamism, and professionalism, has earned him a remarkable reputation throughout the private club industry. With over two decades of experience in management and consulting roles, John has collaborated with some elite clubs such as The Patterson Club, Whippoorwill Golf Club, Ardsley Country Club, Old Oaks Country Club, and Shenorock, among others. His extensive experience and unwavering commitment have enabled him to revolutionize racquet programs both in the US and Europe.

Josefina Torres Martin

A passionate and dedicated tennis coach with over 16 years of experience in the sport, Josefina, holds a full time position at Cassas Tennis. With a deep love for tennis cultivated since childhood, she grew up playing tennis in Miami, FL. She then went on to be a nationally ranked singles and doubles player while attending Concordia College, NY and taking her team to the NCAA Championships two years in a row. Her coaching experience began at College Racquet Club and led her through other country clubs in the Westchester area until she reached Ardsley Country Club. No matter the sport, Josefina brings great knowledge and vibrant energy everywhere she coaches.

Program Director

Myrohn Miranda

Myrohn Miranda is starting his second season at Cassas Tennis. He started to play tennis at the age of 10 and this passion led him to being ranked No. 1 U18 in his home country, Chile. Myrohn is a former player at Reinhardt University, GA, where he played line 2 in singles and doubles. With his team, they reached Rank No. 2 in NAIA. He was the assistant coach at Westcliff University, CA for three years, where he helped his team to be Rank No. 9 in NAIA in Men's and Rank No. 17 in Women's in their second ever season, as well as winning their first GSAC Conference with both teams. He has been coaching for the past seven years with stops at Racquet Club of Irvine, CA, King Daddy Sports, Houston, TX, Bridge Mill Athletic Club, Canton, GA and Lapides Tennis Academy in Boston, MA. With such a vast coaching background, Myrohn brings extensive knowledge into every coaching session, producing well-developed adult and junior players.
